Product Safety Information
Product safety information is provided below to ensure as much transparency as possible. Essential oil products I use are safe and free from the toxins that are in mass produced air fresheners, fabric fresheners, perfumes and other products. Additionally there are still some precautions that should be taken when using any essential oil blend.
- Warning: all of our products are made in the same workspace. Despite a sterile workspace, cross contamination may still occur. Allergens include tree nuts. (coconut oil, sweet almond oil and any other oils listed in the ingredients on the label and product pages).
- Hippieish products are for external use only, unless specified
- Please consult your physician or healthcare provider if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any medical condition prior to use.
- Hippieish products are for adult use only, please contact your pediatrician for use in children.
- Before use of any Hippieish product, we highly encourage performing a patch test on the inner forearm/elbow area, prior to consistent use of our products.
- Please note that some citrus oils are not safe for use in the sun, they can cause burns, also known as phototoxicity. However, our Bergamot is Bergaptene free, so it will not burn and our lime oil is steam distilled, so it too, will not burn.
- Please use caution in the direct sun with any product that has lemon or grapefruit oil as listed ingredients. Do not use directly on skin while in the sun
- Please avoid the use of products near your eyes, nose and mouth, unless specified.
- Personal aromatherapy inhalers should not be shared.
- Please do not use alcohol containing products on finished surfaces (wood, sealed surfaces).
- Keep out of reach from pets and children.
- All essential oils are flammable, please keep away from open flame.
- For the best results, store in a cool dry place, without direct sunlight.
- Individual results will vary.
Please discontinue use, and seek advice from your physician if signs and symptoms of allergic reaction occur. Signs of an allergic reaction can include, but are not limited to, redness, rash, swelling and trouble breathing.

With supply chain issues occurring in every sector and aspect of business, I have found it necessary to source supplies from anywhere I can. That includes local stores and even Amazon from time to time. While I prefer to support local and small business regularly, I often find it necessary to source supplies by any means available to me.
